Overhead Squat


1. Stand with feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, toes pointed slightly outward.

2. Hold the barbell fully extended overhead with a wide grip.

3. Take a deep breath and brace core.

4. Push hips back and bend knees to lower into a squat position, keeping the barbell locked-out overhead.

5. Keep chest up and back flat throughout the movement.

6. Squat until thighs are parallel to the ground.

7. Drive through heels to return to standing position, keeping the barbell overhead until the set is completed.
