American Kettlebell Swing

Instructions

1. Stand with feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, toes slightly pointed out.

2. Hinge at the hips and bend the knees to grab the kettlebell with both hands.

3. Keep the back flat and core engaged.

4. Drive the hips forward and swing the kettlebell up, ending directly overhead with arms straight.

5. Allow the kettlebell to swing back between the legs.

6. Hinge at the hips and bend the knees to absorb the momentum of the kettlebell.

7. Drive the hips forward and swing the kettlebell up, ending directly overhead with arms straight.

8. Allow the kettlebell to swing back between the legs.

9. Repeat the movement.
